White Tiger

Visitors can observe white tigers in Zoological Garden (NayPyiTAw). They have been imported from China to Nay Pyi Taw Zoo since 2011.They have white fur with black stripes and blues eyes. In the zoo, their living place is enriched with pond, hillock, gully and created naturalistic enclosure and housing.

In fact, the white pigmentation arises when the dominant gene is present in the animals. They have own strip pattern which is unique. The very first white tigers are reported in India over past 100 years.
