Distribution - Savannas, grassland, and open woodland.
Characteristics - The tallest terrestrial animal and its distinguishing characteristics are extremely long neck and legs.
Habitat - Females usually live with their babies in a group which consist more than a dozen. Adult males are isolated. They have less sleeping time like two hours. They are the largest ruminant.
Food -Herbivore. They are able to eat 75 pounds and drink 10 gallons of water.
Remark - They are endangered species on IUCN Red List.
