The Safari Park, (Nav Pyi Taw) is located beside the Yangon-Mandalay highway and about 20 miles far from Nay Pyi Taw downtown. It is established in 2010 and successfully inaugurated on 12th, Feb, 2011 (Union Day of Myanmar). The area is 291.52 acres in total and the area was selected based on natural tree compositions, topography and stand structure which are adaptable for wild animals as well as well easily accessible for public.

Objectives
To gain knowledge about the endangered species of wild animals from Myanmar as well as other parts of the world.
To observe their habitats in natural range and to create as public recreation center.
To conserve some of the endangered wildlife species in Myanmar as well as in the world as ex-situ conservation.
To raise the public awareness about the importance of environment, biodiversity and ecological values.
